Tour description
Shavlinskie (shavla) lakes are the most famous ones in Altay. Ancient cedars come close to the very surface of the water, creating an unforgettable fairy contrast bright blue color…You will discover the beauty of the pristine alpine lakes, mountain peaks, snow-capped peaks, whose names speak for themselves - Dream, Beauty and the Fairy Tale.
Tour program
1-2 days: Bus transfer from Novosibirsk to Chuysky highway till the camping White Bom (route - 741 km) (the camping has got its name in honor of the multi-meter white rock that breaks down to the river Chuya). Night transfer. 11.00 - arrival at the camping White Bom. Accommodation in the tents on the territory of the camping. Lunch prepared on the fire. Optional - lunch at a local cafe "Ak-Bom". Recreation time. Night in the tents near the bank of the river Chuya. (Accommodation in comfortable rooms and cottages for extra fee is possible).
3 day: Breakfast. Horse riding till the Karakol' lake ('Black lake'). Night in the tents.
4 day: Horse trekking route "Lake Karakol - Shabaga river". NIght in the tents.
5 day: Horse trekking route "Shabaga river - Shavla river - Lower Shavla lake (1983 m above the sea level). Night in the tents.
6 day: Recreation day. Walking tour to the Upper Shavla lake to the Zelinsky glacier. Alpine fishing for grayling in the Lower Shavla lake or the river Shavla. Night in the tents. Russian sauna (optional).
7 day: Horse trekking route down to the valley of the river Shavla, night in the tents.
8-9 days: Horse trekking route back to the starting point - camping White Bom. (Accommodation in more comfortable rooms and Russian sauna for extra fee is possible).
10 day: Late breakfast. Optional - a walking tour up to the mountain White Bom and sightseing of the White Bom cave. Russian sauna and night on the territory of the ail.
11 day: Early departure for Novosibirsk (route - 741 km). Arrival at about 21:00.
